Office of Governance and Leadership Development
The function of the NJ DOE’s Office of Governance
and Leadership Development is to support district and school administrators who
aspire to become transformative educational leaders by facilitating change at
the school level. The office has established a Leaders Learning from Leaders
Professional Learning Community Network to provide participants with
opportunities to discuss theoretical and practical approaches to change.
Promising practices of the network are aligned with the Interstate School
Leaders
Licensure Consortium (ISLLC) Standards and the New Jersey Standards for
School Leaders
